<p>Two alleged thieves ran out of luck after going on a snatching spree in west Delhi, police said on Thursday.</p>.<p>They had stolen one motorcycle and snatched three mobile phones on Tuesday before one of the victims took the help of public and police to catch them.<br />Tarun and Praveen had not learnt their lessons despite being given a brief chase by Sunil Aggarwal, a 24-year-old shopkeeper in Uttam Nagar.<br /><br />Aggarwal was waiting for a friend in the local market around 5 pm on Tuesday when Tarun and Praveen arrived on a motorcycle and snatched his mobile phone from his hand.<br /><br />Aggarwal had immediately drawn the attention of bystander Sardar Jagbir Singh, 26, who accompanied him in the chase.</p>.<p>However, they managed to race ahead, leaving the two far behind.</p>.<p>However, Aggarwal and Singh continued searching for the two in the neighbourhood. As soon as they reached near Gujranwala Apartment in Vikaspuri, they saw the thieves snatching the mobile phone of a woman, said police in a release.<br /><br />This time, the snatchers were intercepted by Sunil and Singh by raising an alarm.<br />It drew the attention of public who ensured that the snatchers could not escape.<br />Some policemen from Vikaspuri police station were nearby and they arrived at the scene to arrest the two accused persons.<br /><br />Police said five snatched mobile phones and one stolen motorcycle have been recovered from them.<br /><br />“An hour before snatching Aggarwal’s phone, the two accused had made away with another person’s phone in Rajouri Garden. Before that, they had stolen a motorcycle from Dabri,” an officer told Deccan Herald.<br /><br />Police said the unemployed duo was found to be involved in at least six cases of snatchings and thefts in west Delhi..</p>
