<p>A 5K walkathon was held on December 14 by the Students’ Council of St. Joseph’s college, in association with World Vision India and Lions Club of Bangalore Central. <br /><br /></p>.<p>The walk was to bring in awareness about ‘Swachh Bharat’ and Sexual Violence against Children and Women. <br /><br />The walk began at 8 am, from the college to the Lal Bagh double Road Gate. About 400 students participated and cleaning was done on campus and outside at Nanjappa circle. A flash mob and a talk by the chief guest was held thereafter and a skit was presented by NSS related to the cause. The walk included many other students, teachers and non-teaching staff from different colleges who actively took part in the events.</p>
