Carnival that charmed the child in you

Kids Day out

The tiny tots of the city had an experience of a lifetime at the ‘Krackerjack Karnival’ organised by the Exhibition India Group held recently at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.

The two-day carnival was a one-stop destination for play, shop and learning for the children offering various amusing games, shopping options, adventure sports, competitive events and much more.

Designed to excite and entertain young ones it provided the perfect day out for kids and their families.

The fair provided an opportunity to the parents to check out all that the market has to offer ranging from baby care items to apparel, furniture, educational products, toys, stationary, sports and maternity items, etc. Magic shows, arts and crafts engaged the small children and exciting prizes were given to them. The main attraction was the presence of famous cartoon character Chota Bheem who amused them with his charm in the fictitious city of Dholakpur. Various Nickelodeon cartoon characters are also there to amuse the children. The carnival not only focused on entertainment quotient but also had various informative shows for the parents.

There was a skit on dyslexia by D Potential kids - a multi-disability special children clinic, Dr Neeta Jain, senior consultant obstetrics and gynaecology took a session on women health and Dr Anamika Dubey from Adiva Hospital talked about diet of
newborns.

Among the many shows, a baby show on Saturday saw participation of almost 50 babies at New Born Maternity Zone in the carnival. The age limit for the baby show was 0-3 years and prizes were distributed to babies in 11 different categories including beautiful smiles, Palmer’s rising star and naughty boy. At the Palmer’s stall various engaging activities like product trial and treasure hunt were organised for babies and their doting mothers.

“I and my daughter had a great day shopping at the carnival. She met Chota Bheem, played many games, won a prize in drawing competition, enjoyed the exciting magic show and had a blast altogether” says Krishna Das a visitor at the carnival.

Highlights of the carnival included a constant stream of activities and performances on the Krackerjack Stage, a live band from Mozartsy, Chamki from Galli Galli Sim Sim, and various workshops from yoga to painting.
