Bulandshahr's DM takes on corrupt officials

When corruption seems to have no end in the nation, Bulandshahr's District Magistrate fearlessly takes on the corrupt contractors and civic officers, setting an example for the lazy bones in the administration.

DM B Chandrakala visited the site of construction and noticed that the bricks used in construction of the road were of poor quality.

The righteous officer couldn't take it and she came down heavily on the contractors and officials present there.

Chandrakala blasted, "Shame on you! This is public money."

Referring to the pending projects, she lambasted, "So much money is coming from the government, is any work being done?"

"Have some morality. It is clearly dead in you. You should be ashamed," she said to the officials who stood there tight-lipped.

As per tabloid reports, a Samajwadi Party leader's brother is one among the officials involved in the corrupt act.

The DM ordered an immediate probe into the matter and asked the civic body commissioner Pinki Garg to send a detailed report of the project.

Cracking the whip on the corrupt officials, she ordered them to get good quality bricks and resume the work within two days.

It's learnt that DM B Chandrakala was recently transferred from Mathura to Uttar Pradesh. However, the reason behind her transfer is still unknown.

The video, featuring the fearless DM lambasting at the corrupt officers, has gone viral on the social networking platforms, namely YouTube, Facebook and Twitter.

The video has got 7, 417 hits on YouTube and has been liked by 144 viewers.
