A woman and her gang allegedly extorted an amount of five lakh rupees from a retired bank officer by blackmailing to post his obscene video (MMS) online, police said today.

70-year-old Pritam Singh Bindra, resident of Delhi gate area, paid five lakh rupees from his pension and gratuity after he was blackmailed to make the video release on the internet. He was approached the second time and forced to deposit another amount, to which Bindra refused, police said.

The blackmailers demanded one of his kidneys in return for his inability to pay the second amount. They threatened to release his obscene video online which was allegedly made by the accused, they said. According to the police, the victim met the accused eight months back and joined her health club.

On 17th June, Bindra became unconscious after he was allegedly fed with some intoxicating substance in lieu of medicine at the club.

Bindra alleged that the accused made his obscene video while he was in unconscious state of mind, and found himself in nude condition when he regained his consciousness after an hour.

"We have registered a case in the Nochindi police station and investigations are on in the matter," said SSP Onkar Singh.
