'PK' breaks box-office records, audiences return for more

Christmas and New Year season seem to have spelled magic for Aamir Khan's latest release 'PK' as the movie is doing phenomenally well not only in India but in the international market too.

Released on Dec 19, it has been soaring high at the box office both in India and abroad. The Aamir starrer is a light hearted entertainer with a social message that can be watched with the entire family.

 Like previous Rajkumar Hirani movies even 'PK' has seen a high repeat index.

While the cast and crew of the movie have also played a major part in generating hype for the movie, word of mouth and great reviews have also helped it bring in audiences and also many repeat viewers.

'PK' has collected Rs.182.58 crore in the first week. On Christmas Day itself, the Rajkumar Hirani directorial collected Rs.27.55 crore in India. The film also stars Anushka Sharma, Sushant Singh Rajput and Sanjay Dutt.
