Hotels across the City have special plans for Bengalureans on New Year’s Eve. They have attractive offers on food and beverage and a host of party options. Metrolife takes a look at the different events happening at the City hotels.

Indulge in the best
The Oberoi will host a New Year’s Eve dinner on December 31, 9 pm onwards at Le Jardin, Rim Naam, Szechwan Court and Polo Club.

The prices are Rs 15,000 plus taxes for celebration dinner with champagne, Rs 12,000 plus taxes for celebration dinner with sparkling wine, Rs 10,000  plus taxes for celebration dinner and add another Rs 5,000 plus taxes to include stay on double occupancy with Rs 20,000 plus taxes for stay and celebration dinner with champagne Rs 17,000 plus taxes for stay and celebration dinner with sparkling wine, Rs 15,000 plus taxes for stay and celebration dinner with no alcohol. Le Jardin and Rim Naam of The Oberoi will offer a buffet spread featuring western and Indian specialties, with popular attractions from the Asian restaurants, including interactive cooking, grills and an indulgent dessert selection. 

There will be seating arrangements made inside the restaurants (indoor at Le Jardin and alfresco at Rim Naam) , a dance floor on the terrace. Here, there will be a four-course set menu-featuring specialties from the Szechwan region with channel music with access to the dance floor at Le Jardin terrace.

On New Year day on January 1, 2015, Le Jardin and Rim Naam will host a buffet lunch from 12 noon onwards. The prices are Rs 3,950 plus taxes for champagne gourmet lunch, Rs 2,950  plus taxes for sparkling wine gourmet lunch, Rs 1,950 plus taxes for gourmet lunch. The finest selection
The Leela Palace is hosting a grand New Year’s Eve in all its restuarants. New Year festivity complete with song and dance is on at Citrus and Library Bar on December 31, 7pm onwards. The price is Rs 6,000 per person, all inclusive.

Guests can groove to the tunes by Marilena and Avinash and a jazz set followed by Brian. There will be a lavish spread of seafood tower showcasing a fine selection of fresh pearl oysters, lobster and prawns. There will also be dim sum bars from continental, oriental to Indian along with a luxurious dessert selection. For details, call 30571316.

The Le Cirque Signature will begin New Year celebrations on December 31, 6.30 pm onwards. The menu will comprise an elegant spread celebrating signature dishes of New York’s Culinary Legend – Le Cirque Signature will prepare for a gastronomical feat of playful textures and visual delights.

The set menu for Le Cirque Signature features the indulgent Champagne Risotto with Osetra Caviar to the much loved artichoke and green pea lasagna to the molten chocolate pudding with vanilla gelato. This is priced at Rs 6,500 per person, plus taxes. For details, call 30571316. The celebrations at Jamavar will be held on December 31, 6.30pm onwards.

There will be a traditional New Year’s platter at Jamavar crafted by corporate master Chef Farman Ali which will feature both vegetarian and non-vegetarian favorites from a soup, main course to dessert. This is priced at Rs 4,000 per person, plus taxes. For details, call 30571316.

Rock on
There will be non-stop partying at The Ritz-Carlton on December 31, 7 pm to 1 am. There will be performances by a European DJ in addition to unlimited food and beverages for Rs 17,000  for a couple.

Soul-stirring beats
The Lalit Ashok Bengaluru plans to ring in the New Year with ‘Rhythm Rendezvous’ with DJ Sash and DJ Rakesh and ‘Musical Clash of the Titans’ between DJ Whosane and DJ Hussain at  Kalinga, Siddhartha, 24/7 Restaurant, Baluchi and Pool side on December 31, 8 pm onwards.

The price is Rs 7,000 per couple (all inclusive -unlimited food and drinks). The Sutra will host DJ Anastasia and DJ Sash. The price is Rs 6,000 per couple (all inclusive- unlimited food and drinks). There will also be a New Year brunch by the poolside on January 1, 2015 from 12 noon to  3.30 pm.

The price is Rs 2,000 plus taxes per person and Rs 1,000 plus taxes per child (between six years and 12 years). For details, call  9741711955.

‘The Experience’
The Taj West End is organising a special night titled, ‘The Experience’ on December 31. DJs Matzo, Nikhil Chinapa and Rohit Barker will perform with supporting acts from Blaque and Vishnu.

There will also be the choicest of drinks with a lavish buffet of over 150 dishes at The Taj West End. The costs include: Main Stage:The Prince of Wales Lawns for Rs 8,000 per couple (all inclusive), VIP:Blue Bar and Blue Ginger, VIP for Rs 13,000 per couple (all inclusive), VVIP Tables:Prince of Wales private enclosure. Power-packed performances

The Gateway Hotel hopes to usher in the New Year with a grand bash at Sphyre. The hip-shaking music from DJ Knight and mouthwatering appetisers will keep you on your feet.

There will be some power-packed entertainment by DJ, performances, games and every couple will get a special gift ranging from spa massages to complimentary meal vouchers and free stays.

This is priced at stags Rs 2,900 (all inclusive  for male/female) and couples have to pay Rs 4,500 (all inclusive). One could also ring in the New Year with a joyous buffet spread at GAD, and dance the night away to the tunes of one piece live band and a DJ  playing your favourite numbers.

Traditional favourites such as Maple Glazed Ham and Roasted Turkey, steamed dumplings, and smoked fish, salads, pastas, and plum cakes and pudding, grilled Tenderloin Medallions with forest mushrooms and Cheese Raviolis with Smoked Salmon and Vodka Tomato Sauce and more with unlimited sparkling wine, cocktails and beer.

The price for children between five and 12 years is Rs 899 (all inclusive). For single ladies, it is Rs 1,500 (all inclusive), single male Rs 3000(all inclusive) and couples Rs 4,500 (all inclusive).

Varied cuisines
ITC Windsor, Bengaluru will be hosting a grand New Year’s Eve spread on December 31 at  The Poolside, Dublin, Royal Afghan and Dakshin. Raj Pavilion will offer eclectic and grand global cuisine by chef Uchit Vohra.

All this can be availed for Rs 9,999 inclusive of all taxes per couple, Rs 4,999 inclusive of all taxes per person and Rs 1,999 inclusive of all taxes per child.

There will also be a New Year’s Day brunch at The Raj Pavilion on January 1, 12.30 pm to 4 pm for Rs 3,500 per person with premium beverages, Rs 4,500 per person with  champagne and Rs 1,800 per child between five and 10 years (inclusive of all taxes). Call 41401310.
