Daily bus pass facility to Chintamani

 
If the passes are provided to the people who commute daily to Bangalore it would facilitate their travel on subsidised rates.

Karnataka Rakshana Vedike and various other organisations had sought for the extension of  bus pass facility to Chintamani.

Reduction of bus fare

The bus fare has been reduced only in certain KSRTC buses, said Unit Manager Naveen Kumar. The fare has been reduced to Rs 3 in KSRTC buses that ply to Kolar via Bangarpet.

Earlier the fare was Rs 8.
