CM's Google Hangouts programme hit in AP

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu continues to be popular with netizens. The detailed statistics of Google Hangouts program of the Chief Minister on Sunday point to an increasing interest from netizens to interact with the Chief Minister.

CM’s Google Hangouts program, held on 20 December has created 2,94,62,648 impressions across the world. It was the first time the Chief Minister has interacted with citizens via Google Hangouts on the topic “Skill Development and Higher Education.”

The total number of views of the program on AP State Government YouTube channel is 2,10,758 views.  The top 10 countries that the Chief Minister’s Google Hangouts program reached are India, United States of America, United Kingdom, UAE, Australia, Singapore, Germany, Canada, Malaysia and Kuwait.

The channels used by the social media team to spread the message about the Google Hangouts program are NCBN’s Twitter account, NCBN’s Facebook page, AP state government Twitter account, AP government Facebook page and TDP official Facebook page. That apart, the team also publicised the program on Sri Nara Chandrababu Naidu’s website.

Over 800 questions, suggestions and ideas were collected by using #AskAPCM or #AskCBN through Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus and YouTube. The questions have been forwarded to the concerned departments and the social media team will soon write back to citizens with answers.

The Google Hangouts program will be held once in three months. It will be used as a medium to communicate with people and listen to them.
