Audi, the German luxury car manufacturer, today launched its compact luxury convertible, Audi A3 Cabriolet in the Coimbatore market.

This compact open top four-seater fascinates with its elegant design, powerful yet highly efficient engine, lightweight construction and best in class features, C R Ananda Krishnan, Managing Diector, Audi, Coimbatore, said in a release here.

Priced at Rs 44.75 lakh ex-showroom Delhi, is yet another example of company's customer-centric approach, he said.

Stating that Audi A3 Cabriolet makes a perfect lifestyle statement, sporty and dynamic with everyday practicality, Ananda Krishnan said that this open top four-seater with its powerful engine, ensures an exhilarating driving experience with no no compromise on fuel efficiency.

The 2014 has been a year of many firsts for Audi and Audi India clocked its best-ever annual sales in calendar year 2013 (10,002 units) and financial year 2013-2014 (10,126 units).

This achievement was also a first for the luxury car industry in India, as a whole, Ananda Krishnan claimed.
