<p>Eggs, tomatoes and stones were hurled at Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal while he was addressing a rally in north-west Delhi’s Sultanpur Majra on Tuesday. <br /><br /></p>.<p>Immediately after being attacked, Kejriwal accused the former Congress MLA of the area for the incident. <br /><br />“Chinta mat karo, chinta mat karo, iska matlab Jai Kishan- ji dar gaye (Don’t worry, it means that Jai Kishan is scared),” he said after the incident that follows similar attacks on him in the past. <br /><br />The Aam Aadmi Party national convener has never filed a police complaint after such attacks. <br /><br />Kishan had successfully contested the previous Delhi Assembly polls from Sultanpur Majra Assembly constituency. <br /><br />According to the eyewitnesses, a few unidentified men threw eggs, tomatoes and stones at Kejriwal, but it fell short of the podium from where he was speaking. He was unhurt, the AAP’s local candidate Sandeep Kumar told Deccan Herald.<br /><br />“Arvind’s jansabha was attended by 10,000 people. The BJP is terrified and Congress’ former MLA will continue to be former,” Kumar said.<br /><br />“We want to tell BJP and Congress, if they think throwing stones will silence us, then they don’t know what we’re made of,” Kejriwal said. <br /><br />The AAP has always blamed political rivalry for such attacks in the past. Reacting to the incident, BJP chief Satish Upadhyay said, “Everything with AAP is scripted, nothing new in this.” <br /><br />Earlier, the former chief minister was attacked on at least two occasions during his nukkad jansabhas (street corner meetings). Kejriwal has been on the receiving end of such attacks in the previous elections as well. <br /><br />Early this year, ink, mobil oil and eggs have been thrown at him, apart from him getting slapped twice during his Lok Sabha poll campaigns.</p>
