<p>A constable, who was arrested after he allegedly threw a minor girl off a police station roof, was terminated from services today, a senior officer said here.<br /></p>.<p>A 16-year-old girl had yesterday alleged that she was thrown off the roof by a police constable identified as Gaurav, he said.<br /><br />As per the complaint earlier lodged by victim's mother, the incident took place on the evening of January 15 when she was thrown by a constable from the roof of Ujhani police station here after which she was seriously injured.<br /><br />The girl was rushed to a hospital where she yesterday gained consciousness and gave her statement to the police after which an FIR was registered.<br /><br />Inspector General Vijay Singh Meena said that Gaurav, who was arrested yesterday, has been terminated from services today.<br /><br />He said that the Station House Officer of the police station, Ram Surat Singh Yadav has also been suspended on charges of dereliction of duty.<br /><br />Police is probing as to how the girl reached the roof of the police station, Meena said.</p>
