Gere at Dalai meet

The head of the Tibetan government in exile delivered a special sermon at Kalchakra Maidan in Bodh Gaya on Wednesday where his celebrity follower Gere sat like an ordinary person and listened to him in rapt attention.

Confirming this, a highly-placed source in Bodh Gaya told Deccan Herald on Wednesday that Gere arrived at Bodh Gaya on Tuesday evening and spent the night at the American Root Institute in the Buddhist town.

Gere is said to have made his personal trip to Bihar like an ordinary visitor. After reaching Patna airport from New Delhi, the Hollywood star boarded a private taxi and proceeded to Bodh Gaya on his spiritual journey.
