J&K encounter: Hizb group commander killed, two ultras trapped

Acting on a tip-off about the presence of militants at Kripaknoo area in Dachan, security forces launched a search operation in wee hours, they said.

During the operation, the militants fired at the search team. In the retaliatory fire which was continuing till noon, a group commander of the outfit Karri Qazi was killed and two of its member, including a divisional commander, were trapped, they added.
