Last Updated 03 February 2015, 02:23 IST

The BJP is all set to release on Tuesday its vision document for Delhi in an attempt to woo voters ahead of the February 7 polls.

The document is likely to share with voters the party’s blueprint on offering solutions on women safety, shelter for all slum dwellers, cheaper electricity and water, traffic decongestion and pollution control.

The document’s official release by party’s chief ministerial candidate Kiran Bedi is timed a few hours before Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s poll rally in Rohini and promises to end the earlier practice issuing a formal manifesto for each Assembly poll in the city.

The BJP shall be the last to come out with poll promises for the coming elections as the AAP has already released its manifesto and the Congress has also released the first part of it poll promises.

The second part of the Congress manifesto is also scheduled to be released on Tuesday.
Congress has stolen a march over others by offering electricity at Rs 1.50 per unit to domestic consumer using up to 200 units.

The AAP has repeated its 2013 poll promise of reducing consumers’ power bills by half.
The BJP vision document may shed light on how the party plans to promote power distribution company portability to encourage more competition and resultant lower rates of electricity.
