A 29-year-old cab driver died in a road accident after his car rammed the median of a road near Yelahanka Main Road in the early hours of Tuesday.
According to police, Santosh Kumar, a resident of Subramanyapura, was working as a cab driver for a travel agency. At around 5 am on Tuesday, he was on his way to the Kempegowda International Airport, when he lost control over the wheels and rammed the median as he approached the Yelahanka Main Road.
Due to the impact of the collision, Kumar suffered from head injuries. The passersby shifted him to a nearby hospital but was declared brought dead, the police said. A case has been registered in Yelahanka traffic police station.
