'Mannina Maga' slammed

Deve Gowda’s “bloody b....” remark has become the talk of the town. In public places, in blogs, social networking sites... Gowda’s below the belt langauge against the chief minister was the hot topic for discussion on Monday. SMSs were also circulated on the issue and the ‘Mannina Maga’ was at the receiving end.

Derogatory remarks by politicians are nothing new to people of Karnataka. Public discourse with epithets like ‘rascals’, ‘emperor of lies’ and ‘mentally unsound’ are freely hurled at one another by the leaders of three major political parties at press conferences.
