Srujana, the inter-collegiate cultural fest of The Oxford College of Arts will be held on March 9 and 10 at their HSR Layout campus.

The two-day cultural fiesta which is open to college students will host eleven exciting events. These include hair-styling contests, cartooning, photography and documentary competitions, creating best out of waste and poetry-writing contests.

For the crooners, there are three singing contests in different categories — folk song, western music and semi-classical music. And for those who want to shake a leg, there are group dance competitions in two different categories — contemporary dance and Bollywood dance.

The two-day event would be an ideal platform for students to showcase their creativity. The event has already created buzz among the student community at The Oxford College of Arts. Speaking about ‘Srujana’, Ashwathi, a second-year BA student said,“ I am so excited about ‘Srujana’.

It is a great opportunity for us to learn the intricacies of organising and managing an event. We are working on an overdrive and we are sure that ‘Srujana’ would be a great success. Also, I can’t wait to see the culturals.” SNVL Narasimha Raju, the Executive Director of The Oxford Group of Institutions and a role model to the students, said,  “‘Srujana’ is a wonderful forum for students across Bangalore to meet, interact and showcase their talents and unravel their potential.”
