Flag carrier Air India is leaving no stone unturned to improve its image among the masses and the media.

The airline has invited quotations for engaging the services of a public relations agency to work closely with the media and other stake holders, with a view to enhance the public and media perception of Air India and its group companies and/or its subsidiaries.
According to the tender notice floated by Air India, the term of the contract to be entered between Air India and the selected bidder shall be two years from the date of signing the contract, which may be extended by Air India for another year at its sole discretion.

The quotations have been invited under a two-bid system (the technical bid and the commercial bid). The last date for submitting the bids is March 30, 2015. Air India goes on to state that it may carry out price negotiations in exceptional cases.

As it is not the general norm for Air India to carry out price negotiations following evaluation of the commercial bids, the bidders are advised to submit their best quotes, the notice says.
