Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who is on naturopathy treatment at the Jindal Naturecure Institute here, has chosen to stay away from newspapers and television channels even though he was given an option, according to doctors treating him.

“His blood sugar levels are extremely high. It is as high as 300. But it has gone down by 10 points now,” said Dr Babina Nandakumar, chief medical officer of the institute.
The AAP leader has been given herbal decoctions for stimulation of pancreas.

“He began his day with yoga at 5.30 am, with Padmasana being the most important of asanas that he was taught. He is also on strict diet. In the morning, he was on papaya and bitter gourd juice. For lunch, he was given chapathi with organic cooked vegetables and soup,”  she said.
