<p>Former IPL commissioner Lalit Modi has been removed from the post of Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) president following a no confidence motion passed by a rival fraction at the special general meeting of the cricket body. <br /><br /></p>.<p>Out of 33 members, 18 members cast their votes and 17 were against Modi. Amin Pathan is all set to take charge as the new chief of RCA. <br /><br />Amidst high drama, supporters of Lalit Modi were stopped outside the RCA premises and unidentified people pelted stones on their buses.<br /><br />“All supporters of Modi were coming to RCA office in two buses. Suddenly a few miscreants stopped our buses and pelted stones,” said Mukesh Sarraf, a Modi supporter.<br /><br />As per the Rajasthan Sports Act, the rival group needs a two-thirds majority to remove Modi and the no confidence motion may again be challenged in court.</p>
