<p>Britney Spears and ex-husband Kevin Federline spent a few tumultuous years together, but the the former back-up dancer says co-parenting two kids with her is great.<br /><br /></p>.<p>After their surprise nuptials they went through contentious divorce, custody battle, and Spears' mental breakdown, reported Access Hollywood<br /><br />"That time, it's like a whirlwind," Federline, 36, said of his 2004 to 2007 marriage to the singer.<br /><br />"You know, you're thrown into this limelight... Everything kinda happened."<br /><br />The American dancer-rapper said it was great to be a father of two adorable sons, Sean, nine, and Jayden, eight, with Spears.<br /><br />"I mean, it was a good time in my life," the aspiring DJ recalled. "We have two beautiful children. The way that everything has turned out, everybody's happy. Co-parenting is going great. I can't complain." <br /></p>
