Kageri unhappy over 'minchina sanchara'

He was speaking at a review meeting in Chikmagalur. The district is lagging behind in school adoption programme. Officials have not made any plans for the community participation. He directed the offcials to suspend those teachers who come to school intoxicated.

DDPI Rangappa said “there are 12 cases with regard to intoxicated teachers attending school in the district. All the 12 teachers have been suspended.”  The Minister urged the officials to see that students are given proper guidance and information with regard to the new question paper pattern for SSLC students. Officials said cycles have been supplied in three taluks. Though cycles are of good quality, the fixing of the parts are not done properly.

New syllabus will be introduced in the State in 2011-12. Schools with less than 5 students will be closed, he said.
