<p>Twenty-four hours after he fell into an open 30-feet borewell, 18-month-old toddler Mallesh was brought out dead on Monday evening.<br /><br />Dharavat Mallesh accidentally fell in to the open borewell on Sunday which was defunct. <br /><br />A ten-member rescue team aided by fire rescue services and mining experts from Singareni Collieries worked round-the-clock, digging a parallel 30-ft pit near the borewell. <br /><br />They sent in oxygen into the borewell but all efforts failed as when they managed to reach Mallesh, he was dead by then. <br /><br />The incident took place in Chandrutanda, a tribal hamlet of Polepalli village in Warangal district, about 80 km from here.<br /></p>
