<p>Two persons were killed in Devalapura village of Mysuru taluk on Monday as a wall collapsed over them, following showers accompanied by heavy winds. <br /><br /></p>.<p>The deceased are Ravi (35) and Siddaraju (55). Another person, Mahadeva, was injured and is being treated at the hospital. The incident occurred near a poultry farm on the outskirts of the city, where the three had taken shelter near the wall during the rainfall. A case has been registered.<br /><br />Pre-monsoon showers continued in parts of south interior Karnataka, with widespread rainfall reported in Mysuru and Chamarajanagar districts.<br /><br />In Shivamogga <br />Moderate-to-heavy rain accompanied by thunder, lightning and strong wind lashed several parts of the district on Monday evening.<br /><br />Shivamogga, Thirthahalli, Hosanagar, Bhadravathi, some parts of Sagar, Shikaripur and Sorab received rain. Several roads in Shivamogga city were waterlogged due to the rain that lasted for nearly an hour.<br /><br />Houses located in low-lying areas were waterlogged. The situation was similar in Thirthahalli. Other parts of the district received moderate rain.</p>
