JOIN USA 35-year-old construction worker committed suicide at his in-laws’ house in Whitefield on Sunday.
The deceased has been identified as Sanju, a resident of Ulsoor.
Sanju went to his in-laws’ house to meet his wife at Bhadranagar on Sunday. After chatting with his wife and her parents for a while, Sanju went to bathroom and locked himself. His wife grew suspicious as Sanju did not come out even after an hour. There was no response for repeated knocks on the door.
The in-laws broke open the door and found Sanju hanging from the ceiling. There was no death note found and the reason for the extreme step is yet to be ascertained, the police said.
Chain snatched
Two men robbed a woman of her gold chain in Vidyaranyapura on Sunday night.
The incident took place when the victim Anuradha, 43, a resident of HMT Layout,
Vidyaranyapura was returning home after an evening walk. The suspects followed her on a bike and one of them snatched her gold chain when she approached the 5th block in HMT Layout and fled immediately, the police said.
