The celebrations have just begun. For the SSLC toppers from Bengaluru, the results are the fruits of their hard work and perseverance. While they shared their joy, they didn’t forget to acknowledge the unconditional support of their family and the guidance of their teachers.

Samhitha M Rao
VVS Sardar Patel High School

The topper from Bengaluru, Samhitha M Rao, has big plans for the future. She says, “I took all the unit exams and internals seriously. I worked hard from day one and worked even harder during the last few days before the exams. I did not compromise on co-curricular activities and have had a balanced year.”

Her parents, Muralidhar Rao and Asha Rao, are thrilled.

Says Muralidhar, “We supported her and asked her to keep a calm head. We advised her not to stress herself too much and made sure she went to bed at 10.30 pm everyday. We told her that learning is important to gain knowledge and there should be no stress on marks.”

Samhitha has already joined the IIT-JEE classes and has kept her options open for medicine too. She says, “Right now, I am open to both engineering and medicine. Let’s see how the year goes.”

Dhyana S

Hardwork always bears fruit. Proving this is Dhyana S from Poorna Prajna High School, who has scored a total of 621 marks out of 625 . The happy young girl says, “I have been working very hard working since day one. I did not have to compromise on any of the extra-curricular activities. I studied with one of my friends.” Her parents, Dr Jalaja and Shivakumar YS are overwhelmed by their daughter’s performance. “I am very happy. She was working hard throughout the year and has been rewarded now,” says Jalaja.

An equally joyful mother, Pushpalatha says, “I am very happy for her and thankful to the school.”
