The aim of the e-magazine is to change that image, P S Kumar Nair, (media), editorial board member, said.<br /><br />The magazine and its website 'www.malayalifriendsgroup.org' would be launched by 94-year-old Indian classical dancer Mrinalini Sarabhai by electronically presenting a copy to Union Minister of state for External Affairs Shashi Tharoor on Friday at Ahmedabad.<br />The website will have details about Kerala culture, festivals, articles and blogs, a business forum to explore business opportunities. There will be a separate section for children also.'Akshapatram', where people can register to dispose of their computers and furniture and other household articles to be given to the needy has also been featured.<br />The E-magazine and website are being launched by the Ahmedabad based Malayali Friendship Group (MFG), a constituent of Millennium Charitable Trust.<br /><br />The web based network,which began with 10 members in January last, has now 23,000 members from 68 countries in one year, Gopal Nair, MFG founder,said in a press release here. The first issue would be dedicated to Mrinalini Sarabhai in recognition for her contribution to Indian dance.</p>
