In the wake of the recent protests by the students who found discrepancies in their second PU results, the BJP youth wing staged a protest in front of the PU Board in Malleswaram on Saturday.
Hundreds of protestors gathered near the PU Board and submitted a memorandum to Sushama Godbole, director of PU Board. The protestors said they have asked the Board to look into the matter in a fair and just manner as it involves the future of several students. They also requested the Board to not collect the fee for re-valuation as most of the students cannot afford to pay it.
The president of the youth wing Sapthagiri Gowda, said: “It is an unfortunate incident where thousands of students are left stranded. We request the education minister Kimmane Ratnakar to step down. It is said that the confusion over the result has been ended and we do not want such mistakes to be repeated.”
