The Central Crime Branch (CCB) of Bengaluru police raided three video game parlours in different parts of the City on Tuesday and arrested 71 people.
The CCB said that based on a tip-off, it raided Star Gold Games in Chamarajpet, Welcome Video Games in Shankarpuram and MP Manjunath and Associates in KG Nagar, and seized Rs 90,160 in cash.
The suspects were playing video games and indulging in illegal betting. The CCB has registered cases against owners of the video game parlours and those playing the game at the respective police stations. Investigation is going on.
