Hard work pays rich dividends

Students with perfect 10s in CBSE Class 10 share their joy

With the CBSE Class 10 results out on Thursday, the hard work of a number of students has finally paid off with many of them getting high grades in their individual subjects and the perfect CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average)  

 

A Mukesh, a student of Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra, Thanisandra was one of the seven students from his school to get a perfect CGPA of 10. “I studied from the beginning of the academic year,” said Mukesh. With the aim of becoming an engineer, Mukesh has already joined the science stream in Deeksha PU College. His classmate, Sai Sravani Raghuram, also scored a perfect ten. “From the beginning of academic year, I had it in mind that I should secure a 10 CGPA.” Alongside regular revi-sion and continuous practice, she also indulged in hobbies like singing and reading novels. Following in her father’s footsteps, Sravani wants to become a Chartered Accountant and is opting for the Commerce stream in Presidency PU college.

Samannay Majundar from Siddaganga Public School, Chandra Layout, who also got the perfect grade point, secured grades of A1s in all the subject: “I studied for seven to eight hours a day. If we want to succeed, we have to make ourselves perfect.”

Avikal Sagar, a student of National Center for Excellence, Kaggadasapura, who scored a perfect CGPA of 10, said, “I am very satisfied with my marks and it is the support of my teachers and parents that helped me do so well.” He aspires to get into IIT and have a career in Computer Science or in Electrical Engineering. “I made a time table and followed it strictly. I also solved lots of sample papers,” he added.

Megha Khelvi, also from National Center for Excellence, Kaggadasapura, scored a perfect 10. “I feel like I am on top of the world, it’s unbelievable.” said ecstatic Megha . She aims to become a software engineer. Her father, Ashok Khelvi, is a software engineer and mother Geetha is a homemaker. Talking about her further studies and preparation for her exams, she said, “I will continue in the same school and will take up science stream. I practised Maths a lot and studied the other subjects on weekends.”
