Addressing reporters in Bangalore, JD(S) Spokesperson Y S V Datta said the government has cancelled only the technical and financial bids. The pre-qualification bid should also be cancelled to ensure transparency, he added.
The JD(S) had been alleging that the government had cleared tenders to take up
Rs 3,400 crore worth developmental projects in City to woo voters in the BBMP polls. Earlier, Datta lodged a complaint with Karnataka Lokayukta justice Santosh Hegde and urged him to conduct a thorough investigation into the issue.
