Private colleges will conduct on July 26 the Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) for admission to MBA and MCA seats under the management quota.
A meeting of representatives of 180 colleges, under the umbrella organisation of Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges’ Association, was held on Friday, where a number of modalities were decided. Fifty per cent of the 20,000-23,000 MBA and MCA seats would be filled by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) through the Postgraduate Common Admission Test and the rest through the KMAT.
There have been 1,800 registrations for the KMAT so far. Submission of online forms will be allowed till July 15. Spot or walk-in registrations will not be allowed.
