JOIN USIn view of the day-long asphaltation works on the Mysuru-KRS Road, starting from the west of Mysuru-Bengaluru road junction, by the Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) on Monday, the city police have prohibited the movement of all types of vehicles on the stretch.
Instead, an alternative route is prepared for the benefit of the road users.
Heavy motor vehicles (HMVs), earlier passing through the western side from Bengaluru road junction, shall move towards the eastern side and proceed through the outer-ring road junction. Other types of vehicles shall pass through the eastern side from the outer-ring junction and reach the city through the Mysuru-Bengaluru road. The vehicles moving towards the eastern side from Mysuru-KRS Road to the outer-ring junction shall proceed towards north of the KRS road, according to a press release from the office of the police commissioner.
