Cauvery Auto Drivers’ Association, Kannada and Culture Department and Nisarga Tourism and Trekking Centre will organise 2nd district level kite competition and gas balloon mela on January 26 at APMC maidan. Addressing a news conference, Cauvery Auto Drivers’ Association Founder President M S Siddiq said that ISKCON Chief Kannaiahlal Krishnadas will light the torch at 8.30 am while Chamber of Commerce General Secretary G Chidvilas will inaugurate. APMC President Ramesh Muddappa, Information Officer Vinodchandra, RTO Habibullah will be the chief guests of the programme. Apart from kite competition and Gas balloon mela vintage car show will also be held.
