No rally without licence

Quite frequently processions, assemblies, meetings are organised by political, religious and social groups, causing inconvenience to the public and obstructing the flow of vehicular traffic. In order to streamline these, the Licensing and Controlling of Assemblies and Processions (Bangalore City) Act comes in handy, say a majority of the administrators. However, marriages and funeral processions do not come under the purview of the Act.
