Varsity students to continue agitation

 
The students said they are going to begin a hunger strike along with their parents from Monday.

The university authorities said the Syndicate decided to solve the imbroglio between the students and their lecturer amicably.

“The Syndicate listened to the versions of both the lecturer and the students. The students were appealed to stop their agitation and return to their classes. They were assured that no such problems will repeat in the future. Even the lecturer has appealed the students that they should forget the previous happenings and start a fresh chapter. We hope that students will return to classes,” varsity Registrar (Administration) Prof K Chinnappa Gowda told Deccan Herald.

However, the student leaders told the newspaper that they were not satisfied and would stage a hunger strike until their demands were met.
