<p>Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said on Tuesday the government would vet the proposal to amend the Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) Act.<br /><br /></p>.<p>When reports drew his attention to the recent statement of KSOU VC M G Krishnan on bringing amendments to the Act, Siddaramaiah said he would verify the proposal.<br /><br />To another query on JD(S) leader H D Kumaraswamy accusing Siddaramaiah of receiving favour from B S Yeddyurappa, the chief minister, denying the charges, said: “Even when I was out of power, I didn’t knock on the doors of any chief minister.”On the much-anticipated BBMP polls, the chief minister said that the Congress was ready to face polls.</p>
