Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said on Tuesday the government would vet the proposal to amend the Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) Act.
When reports drew his attention to the recent statement of KSOU VC M G Krishnan on bringing amendments to the Act, Siddaramaiah said he would verify the proposal.
To another query on JD(S) leader H D Kumaraswamy accusing Siddaramaiah of receiving favour from B S Yeddyurappa, the chief minister, denying the charges, said: “Even when I was out of power, I didn’t knock on the doors of any chief minister.”On the much-anticipated BBMP polls, the chief minister said that the Congress was ready to face polls.
