Dilip (23), a resident of Kereguddadahalli died due to suspected dengue viral disease at BGS Hospital here on Tuesday. <br /><br /></p>.<p>The victim suffered from high fever for two days following which he was hospitalised. He failed to respond to treatment and died on Tuesday.<br /><br />In yet another case that came to light late, 59-year-old Champa Prahlad, a resident of Subramanyanagar in the City, died of suspected dengue fever. <br /><br />“She was hospitalised at Manipal North Side Hospital two weeks ago. She suffered from dengue shock syndrome. Later she died of complications on Thursday last week,” said a family member.<br /><br />The family members said that they had also taken a second opinion to confirm that she suffered from dengue.<br /><br />Yet another suspected dengue death of 13-year-old Niveditha was reported in the City, the Health department is yet to confirm the same.<br /><br />According to the Department of Health and family welfare, a total of 914 have been tested positive across the State, so far. As many as 85 cases have been reported on Tuesday alone. In Bengaluru, 302 cases have been confirmed.</p>
