The Amazon India Couture Week 2015 was an eye-opener for all the fashionistas who keep a tab on the latest fashion trends. The exquisite collection by some of the well-known names of the fashion industry, during the star-studded week, provided a peep into the latest fashion trends. Some of the most celebrated actors of Bollywood walked the ramp flaunting the fine creations of these fashion gurus. Metrolife gets you a round-up of the trends you need to know about and flaunt this season.

For all the ladies out there, the AICW 2015 was a lot about floral-inspired collections of anarkalis, sari gowns, sari lehengas in your wardrobe. Textured fabrics, voluminous gown-like silhouettes that could be worn as lehengas, trails of exquisite silk -- lending the woman an air of majesty are also finding place in the fashion scene this season. The colour palette too is as exciting as ever ranging from metallic silver and antique gold to rich burgundy, old rose pink, pearl grey and coffee brown. Details such as three-dimensional embroidery, mushroom-flower and bird motifs in delicate threadwork are what make the attire even more appealing.

Dreamy ethereal cuts, artfully draped gown saris, ravishingly sensual gowns structured seductively to enhance the contours of the body, balanced by elegantly innovative pantsuits are a way to flaunt the feminine yet modern woman.

For those who are preparing for the most special day of their life, there is something very special in the scintillating hand-crafted embroideries and dazzling Preciosa crystals dramatic capes and robes, sheer billowy jackets, regal cloaks and lehengas that make rich statements in regal clothing. Tempered in hues of ivory and beige, burnished golds and velveteen ruby, the ensembles hark back to the time of Maharajas and Maharanis.

You can also opt for something quite different on your wedding day by flaunting the look of a rebel bride. This collection is for the ‘cool laid-back bride’ and her entourage! The collection reflects the amalgam of different elements, which make for a memorable wedding on-board a luxury yacht. There are well-detailed masterpieces, complexity of forms and its multiple interpretations of elements on fabrics which outline the nature of cross cultures of the world, the boat, sea foams, fiery pieces of the coral reef, starfish and shells, the stark beams of the sun, textured sand; these are the various forms implemented in each opus.

Gulbagh's lush floral theme with red rose maang tikkas and marigold all around will be a perfect look to flaunt. Made out of fabrics like velvets, silk, and cotton, they ensure you make a style statement, and how! Floral-inspired collection of anarkalis, sari gowns, sari lehengas are some options for luxury weddings design.

Clutches, wallets and handbags are every girl's favourite accessory. When it comes to dressing fashionably, women complete their look with a perfect handbag. But this
season we suggest you to go with some spiked cluthes and wallet that garner you
more eyeballs.

For men, bandhgalas and Nehru jackets are always a good choice to make. Highlighted by the beauty of traditional Indian embroidery, interpreted in a modern way, the choice can make one stand apart among all. With works of zari, zardozi, badla ka kaam, fine resham ka kaam, Parsi embroidery, teamed with shawls, can make one re-think their stand on couture clothing. Try some printed pants to club with the traditional wear.

Replete with structured jackets, trench coats and waistcoats, in hues of blue and black with a touch of intricate embroidery are another choice. Vintage glasses, bow ties and neck ties will add a hint of dandy to your collection of couture clothing.
