Says Jagadish, “The shoot got delayed as we were searching for the correct chimpanzee. <br /><br />Then we had to obtain permission to use the animal in the film. Besides, the chimp has received 50 days of training. <br /><br />In Appu-Pappu, we will showcase some adventures of the chimpanzee. One that has never been shown before and the bond between the animal and the little boy will be the focus,” says Jagadish. <br /><br />Appu-Pappu which began shooting from January 19 in Cambodia will stay in the country for 25 days. Abbas, Rekha, Rangayana Raghu and Komal form the rest of the cast. <br />Krishna is the cinematographer and Hamsalekha has penned lyrics and provided music.</p>
