No leaders from any of the Left parties attended the ceremony.
Advani, set to become the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, was present when Manmohan Singh took oath as the Prime Minister for the second consecutive term on May 22.
Although Advani had attended the first round of swearing-in when 19 Cabinet Ministers were inducted, he had skipped the tea party that followed the function.
Apart from CPI(M) leader Sitaram Yechuri, no Left leader was present at the first swearing-in ceremony.
