Massive win for Bethany HS

 A splendid all-round performance from Palguna M paved the way for a massive win for Bethany High School over National High School in the under-16 Group I, Division II cricket tournament for the KSCA Cup here.

Bethany batted first and posted a huge total of 336 all out in 48.3 overs thanks to Palguna’s 164.

Chasing such a daunting total was never going to be easy for the National School and their innings folded for just 128 with Palguna being the leading wicket-taker, claiming 3/22.

Ryan International School, Kundanahalli: 222 all out in 42.3 overs (Aravind K 56; Amaresh 2-37, Abhishek 2-37, Abhishek K 2-11) bt Delhi Public School, North: 152 for 8 in 35.2 overs (Vineeth 28, Jay Mandal 37, Vishwas 25; Arvind 2-23, Prathib 2-27). Kensri School: 104 all out in 40.5 overs (Hari Prasad 2-31, Athreya 2-3, Aryan 3-29) lt to Sri Kumaran’s Children Home (CBSE): 106/3 in 17 overs.

Sri Kumaran Public School: 157 all out in 43.3 overs (Rochan 28, Satvik 77; Viplav 2-33, Pratik 3-30, Shishir 2-35) lt to Carmel School, Padmanabhanagar: 158/2 in 33.3 overs (Adithya 51, Pradyumna 50, Suhas R 28 n.o.).
