Crestron opens software engg. lab in B'luru

Crestron, a leading provider of control and automation systems for homes and offices, opened its software engineering lab here on August 11, the first such facility outside the United States.

The 7,500 sq ft technology office represents Crestron’s strategic direction to expand its engineering research and development capabilities globally, beginning with this facility in Asia.

“We highly value the skills and talents of our employees in India and we will continue to cultivate and grow them as we further expand,” said Crestron CTO Fred Bargetzi. The lab will be headed by Crestron Asia Executive Director Tony Yueng.
