Adani UPCL reserves Rs 93 lakh for development works

Adani UPCL handed over confirmation letter to Padubidri grama panchayat for execution of development works worth Rs 93 lakhs during 2017-18, under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) grant.

Adani UPCL has declared a total grant of Rs 2.77 crore to Padubiri grama panchayat for the purpose of village development works for a period of 3 years. Based on the declared CSR grant, Padubidri grama panchayat president Damayanti Ameen handed over the list of works to be executed in the limits of Padubidri grama panchayat for the year 2017-18 to Adani UPCL joint president Kishore Alva.

Receiving the list, Alva said that during the financial year 2016-17, Adani UPCL, under its CSR initiatives, has executed development works worth Rs 41.50 lakhs in Padubidri villages. An action plan for the year 2017-18 submitted by Padubidri grama panchayat contained the list of development works worth Rs 93 lakh. The list comprises of construction of foot-over-bridge in Nadsalu, concreting of 800 metres road near Paduhitlu Jarayandaya Temple, Developments to Mortuary at PHC, concreting of road in Keri village, concreting of road near Krishnapura Mutt, concreting of roads near Brahmasthaana, construction of Hospital in Kanchinadka, concreting of road near ST colony, concreting of road near Brhma Muggerkala Temple and development works at auditorium at Padebettu Subramanya Swamy Temple.
