Left: A classic day break in Fira, captial of Santorini island. Centre: The Red Beach in Santorini is famous for its red colored rocks( the result of the volcanic eruption of 1956) and sand set against the backdrop of gorgeous blue. Santorini, a result of a volcanic eruption, still has a few active volcanoes. Right: The Byzantine Church of St. Irene (Perissa). Since the colors of the Greek flag are blue and white, all churches in the island are painted in similar colors. Photos and text sent by Jaya Rao
