Student found hanging

An engineering student was found hanging at his house in M S Palya on Thursday morning. The victim, Sudhanshu Kumar, 21, was a V semester student at Sambharam College of Engineering near BEL Circle. Police sources say Kumar hailed from Jharkhand and was living with his friend Ravi Kumar at a rented house.

According to Ravi Kumar, Kumar was depressed on Wednesday that he had not done well in the ongoing examination. 

He had failed in two subjects in the previous semester as well and this might have led him to take the extreme step. 

The incident came to light when Ravi Kumar woke up on Thursday morning. Vidyaranyapura police have registered a case.
