SP demands 30 seats, Lalu to meet Mulayam

Last Updated 05 September 2015, 18:25 IST

Though efforts were on to bring back Mulayam Singh to Janata Parivar fold in Bihar, the Samajwadi Party is unlikely to retract from its stand to go it alone in Bihar.

According to senior functionaries of the Janata Dal (United), the SP has demanded 30 seats which cannot be fulfilled. “They are demanding seats almost equal to what the Congress has been allotted. This is not possible for us. It’s a difficult demand which cannot be fulfilled,” a senior JD(U) leader told Deccan Herald.
