WNS, a New York stock exchange-listed global business process management company, has decided to set up two research and development centres in the country to gear up for its next level of journey, said Group CEO of WNS and Chairman of Nasscom BPM Council Keshav Murugesh.
In an interaction with Deccan Herald, Murugesh said the centres will highlight the technology prowess of the company. “We have been making more advancement with the advent of social, mobile, analytics, cloud and IPs. These new R&D centres will play a major role as experience centres for our customers,” he said.
He said the company is not looking at the research centrefrom the perspective of manpower and money. “As a company, we have decided to spend a capex of $25 million-$30 million this year,” he said.
Sources said the centres will be mostly be located in Bengaluru and New Delhi.
