<p>The Uttara Kannada Deputy Commissioner Ujwal Kumar Ghosh has submitted a comprehensive report on the demolition of Kannadigas’ houses on Baina beach in Goa.<br /><br /></p>.<p>A team of officials comprising Deputy Commissioner Ujwal Kumar Ghosh, Additional Deputy Commissioner H Prasanna and Assistant Commissioner S B Prashanthkumar visited Goa on the instructions of the chief minister on Sunday. The team spoke to Kannadiga’s who have lost their houses. <br /><br />The Goa government on Saturday demolished as many as 157 houses of Kannadigas on Baina. The house-losers said that the Goa government had been throwing Kannadigas to the streets by its eviction operation.<br /><br />The deputy commissioner also spoke to South Goa collector Sachin Shindhe, who told that the 157 houses were constructed in violation of Coastal Regulation Zone Rules. District in-charge minister R V Desphande said in a press release that he had held talks with Goa Chief Minister Laxmikanth Parsekar over the Baina issue.<br /><br /></p>
